Thanks to Katie and Heather for the link-up!

The week has come and gone, and fortunately, not at a snail like pace.  I don't have anything planned for the weekend, but with it so hot out here in Memphis, TN, I don't mind that at all.

The only thing I have planned, is to fill our baby pool with water, open the patio umbrella, and let Ryan play.

Here are some of my #fridayfavorites from this week:

35-min HIIT workout

Last night, I decided to push myself in a new and challenging 35-min Treadmill HIIT Workout.  At the end, I was a sweaty mess and my legs are a little tired today.  I call that a success!

Honey I Blew Up the Kid

On Wednesday, Ryan and I went to my church small group meeting and he proceeded to climb into a 6-mo's Bumbo seat because he thought he could fit.  Let's just say I had a flashback to the awesome 1992 hit Honey I Blew Up the Kid.  Of course, Ryan decided to do this during prayer and after "Amen,"  I look up and find him squeezed in and stuck.  No Ryan, you are not that little anymore.

FlapJacked

I am a big follower of Ashley's blog My Food & Fitness Diaries.  She always raves about FlapJacked's protein packed pancakes and now, their Mighty Muffins.  While I have always used Kodiak Cake's Protein Packed pancake mix, she has finally won me over with the talk of their Mighty Muffins and I am heading to the grocery store TONIGHT to stock up.  Thank you Ashley, I am pretty sure this will be a new addiction.

Night Night Walk

Ryan loves being outside but, let's be real, it has been wayyy too hot to allow him to be outside for too long.  Yesterday was an unusually cooler day and there was a wonderful breeze last night, so I took advantage and took Ryan on a walk before bedtime.  After the walk, he was nice and exhausted letting me know he was ready for "night night."

Now, let the weekend begin!

XOXO,
Sherri

Do you have any good weekend plans?
What do you like to do to beat the heat?
Kodiak Cakes or FlapJack, which is better?
