It's August and I can't believe it! This summer has flown by big time and fall is right around the corner. (Which is not a bad thing.)
Here are some highlights from the weekend:
Friday
We dined on Chipotle....duh! Ryan was exceptionally happy about this meal and loved dipping his quesadilla in his guacamole. You are your mother's child Ryan!Saturday
Saturday was spent running errands all over town. But not before Ryan got to watch his new favorite show on Netflix...Chuggington! He loved running around the house saying "Choo Choo!"Then we were off to Target!
Obviously, the hat did not help his massive bed head.
Then, it was love at first sight. He tried to climb on it and ride it (go figure), and was extremely mad that momma didn't cave in and buy it.
We ended the day with a quick treadmill workout. He was tickled to death!
Sunday
The weather was not too hot on Sunday and had the perfect breeze to make outdoor activities fun, so Ryan and I took advantage of it after church and his nap.
He dined on his new favorite snack, peanut butter crackers, to fuel his afternoon craziness.
Then, we took a nice long walk around the neighborhood.
And we got to chit chat with the ducks at our neighborhood pond.
After dinner, Ryan wanted to do laundry.
And be carried in the basket.
Then, he wanted to wear all of the freshly cleaned clothes around the house and run around like a mad-man. Let's just say I know who is going to get the "Class Clown" superlative when he is a senior in high school.... this goofball!
Nothing completed the day like running around in the sprinkler though! That capped the day off juuuust right!
He loved it so much and was covered in grass head-to-toe. It took him a good 10 minutes to say "bye bye" to the water last night. Cheap entertainment!
XOXO,
Sherri
