Remember me? I didn't expect to be away from social media this long. My last post was on 11/18 and after that, the shishhhh hit the fan in my household. During my last post, my son had been battling a nasty cold for over a week. But, things got worse. He ended up with a double ear infection, a 102-degree fever for four days, and an extreme case of thrush from the antibiotics. On top of that, I caught a cold and it turned into laryngitis and bronchitis for me. Oh, and then my husband got it during Thanksgiving and spent the whole holiday in bed with a high fever and vomiting.
So, as you can imagine, there was no way I was able to do much of anything.
Now that we are finally on the mend, life is back in full swing and I start my new job TOMORROW. I can't tell you how stoked I am to get back into a routine. I have missed structure and adult interaction...badly.
Since I have been away, I guess I should catch you up to speed with some pictures from Thanksgiving. We travelled to VA to be with our families. Since Russell got sick during that time, he stayed in bed at his mother's house the whole time, but Ry guy and I joined in on family fun!
