Holy cow it's June! I just feel like time is flying by and I am going to blink and it will be Christmas.
With this being my first full week back from vacation, I am looking forward to some down time this weekend and heading to Costco to stock my home. Oh, and Ryan has his very first swim lessons at the YMCA starting Saturday. I can't wait to get him in the pool and more comfortable with the water.
Some of my #ffavorites of the week:
Taylor Swift's new song "Bad Blood."
I am a so-so T. Swift fan but this song it so catchy and I dance jam to it in my car. To the point where my husband turned to me this week and said, "You just can't let go of your inner 17-year-old can you?" No sir, I cannot. The video is awesome and you can view it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcIy9NiNbmoYasso has done it again!
I ran into Target this week for some essentials and stopped (and drooled) when I saw this:
Now, Costco sells their Mint Chocolate Chip version in bulk (which I love), but I just had to try this. And, it did not disappoint. So go grab it, eat it, and love it.
Type A
This week, I guest blogged on Creating a Better Tomorrow about having to teach myself how to relax again. If you missed it, you can read it here. Well, shortly after writing the post, I stumbled on an article about being Type A in The Huffington Post and it was like looking in the mirror. I am guilty of all of it. You should read the article "16 Signs You're A Little (Or A Lot) Type A."Freezer Menu
So this week I finally decided to jump on the meal planning bandwagon and also meal prepping. I was on Google and Pinterest for inspiration, looking for great meals that I could make on Sundays that would also freeze well for future consumption. I stumbled on the Thriving Home blog, and they had EXCELLENT freezer meal ideas. This week was a success for me pre-making 2 dinner meals, and I am excited about Sunday and making a few more for next week! Thriving Home also had a printable meal planner you could use to write everything out. Score!XOXOX,
Sherri
