Hallelujah!  It's Friday! So looking forward to enjoying our weekend with no illness and lots of playtime outside!

Here are my #ffavorites (Friday Favorites) from this week.


1.  My nightly wagon rides with Ryan.  Ryan is obsessed with being outside, so much, that when it is time to come in, he cries his little eyes out.  Every night we get home from work/daycare, we go on a quick wagon ride around the neighborhood to enjoy the outdoors and to make my little prince happy.

He cracks himself up when he takes selfies.

2.  This photo below. Now being a mom, I totally get it!  I used to give "the look" to other moms who let their kids look totally cray cray and now the role is totally reversed.  I laughed so hard when I stumbled across this pic.

3.  Cookie Dough Overnight Oats.  The love is still strong people!  I posted my recipe here a few weeks back and I seriously eat this every. single. day.  It never gets old. Who doesn't love having something that tasted like dessert for breakfast??  And it is loaded in protein!  Get in my belly...again!

Tomorrow my little boy gets dedicated at church and I can't wait :)  I am so excited to have this ceremony and for Ryan to grow in church and with Christ as Russell and I have growing up.  Can't wait to share pictures!

Other than that, our weekend will be outdoors playing and the typical grocery store run we do at Costco on Sundays.

Thinking Out Loud | Target Gets Me Every Time

First, I want to give a shout out to Amanda @ RunningwithSpoons for the link up.

Happy Thursday... but I am not gonna lie, it really feels like it should be Friday.  Now that I am finally feeling like my old self again and everyone else in my family is healthy (for right now - knock on wood), I just want to enjoy my time with them and relax!

But it's not, so here are my Thursday thoughts :)

1.  Target got me.... again.  It gets me every time.  I ran in Target yesterday looking for one thing... dog food.  I ran out, with a cart full of more... and snack foods.  I seriously need to stop going in on an empty stomach and Target seriously needs to stop displaying yummy new "semi-healthier" snack options.  Sure the options I bought were "non gmo," "no preservatives," and "no trans fat"... but that also means I have to keep my portions in check and be responsible.  BUT WHEN THESE TWO THINGS TASTE SO ADDICTING, HOW CAN I STOP!

Seriously Target, I need to go to rehab because of you.  (But on a side note...the Gary Poppins White Cheddar Jalapeno popcorn is the bomb.com! and the cookie chips are perfect for the "sweet tooth" without indulging in a 300 cal cookie)

2. Tax Day was Wednesday and we finally did our taxes last weekend.  And, we got a refund back.  That. Never. Happens.  So, I am pretty confident we will be audited.  Isn't that sad? You actually get a refund back one year, and now I am terrified of it and that I did something wrong.  Haha, what a shame.

3.  Within one week, Ryan had an ear infection, Russell had a stomach virus, I had bronchitis, and then I got the stomach virus.  Now that THAT is all over with, what is next?  Swine Flu?

4.  I got an email yesterday saying my Stitch Fix is on its way.  I love how one simple email can seriously MAKE YOUR DAY!  I can't wait to do a review on it.

5.  I have almost one month until our OBX family vacation.  One week full of no work, all play, and family time :)  Also a reminder that I need to get my Target snack obsessions in check.

6.  Several bloggers I follow are expecting with their baby #2's.  Ummm, and now I TOTALLY have baby fever.  I need to rein it in...we need to wait just a tad bit longer, but man, the fever is STRONG people...the fever is strong!

7.  This photo is my favorite find of the week.... PREACH!
