Current Book:
I am re-reading the Fifty Shades books because I have needed some down time in the evenings that is not intellectually stimulating. I read the books almost four years ago while on my honeymoon. (Great honeymoon read by the way.) I recently watched the movie and forgot a lot about the first book and barely remembered what happened in the others so I picked them back up. I'm almost finished with the last book.Current Show:
I am equally obsessed with "How to Get Away with Murder" and "Chicago Fire." The inner cheerleader in me jumps for joy when it's that day in the week where I can watch them.Current Excitement:
We found a babysitter here in Wilmington and are heading for our first date out on town Saturday night to celebrate a friend's birthday!Current Exercise:
It's a little mix of Les Mills On Demand and some HIIT treadmill runs. I loved all of the Les Mills classes and I am stoked that I can do them all at home now!Current Nail Color:
Absolutely the same as last time. No color and evidence that I am still a nail biter. Maybe that is what I should have given up for Lent.Current Song:
"Unsteady" from X Ambassadors is on repeat. I can't get enough. It gives me goosebumps/Current Outfit:
I loved wearing my new dress from Stitch Fix this week. It felt so soft and very light. The color was too fun as well.Current Drink:
I mostly only drink water and always half my body weight in water a day, but I am trying to up it even more right now. My skin will thank me. And, so will Ryan Gosling.Current Indulgence:
For the last month, I have been on a breakfast smoothie kick. It's easy for me to make and drink on the way to work. I am adding unsweetened almond milk, heaping handful of spinach, 1/2 banana, frozen berries, vanilla protein powder, 1/3 c. dried oatmeal, and green superfood powder.Current Photo:
My little man wanted to cuddle with me on the couch Monday since we had a long weekend together. This never happens and I totally embraced it and snapped a photo.Current Meal
I found a recipe for Garlic Mustard Drumsticks on Tina's blog Carrots 'N' Cake. way back when and it is still on repeat at our house. It is totally delicious and really tastes like fried chicken without any guilt. And that's that!
XOXO,
Sherri
