Weekend Recap | GrandPop visits!

Happy Monday!

I felt like I blinked and the weekend was over...it totally made me sad.  That, and the fact that I am still not feeling better.  Is the end near???

Overall though, the weekend was perfect.  The weather was gorgeous and Ryan was full of energy.

My father-in-law, Ryan's GrandPop, came in for the weekend, and it had been since the end of January since he had seen Ryan.  Those two had so much fun together.  Instead of blabbing so much, I am going to let the pictures do the talking :)

Saturday evening, we took Ryan to PetSmart to see the birds and fish.  He was running through the store having the time of his life.

Ha!  Love this kid.

Uh Oh! I spot a small doggie!

When Ryan spotted the dog, he stopped in his tracks.  He couldn't get over the fact that he was taller than this dog.  (Our Buddy is a 75lb monster :) )  He went over to pet the dog and the doggie jumped up on him.  This kid was not scared one bit!  He thought it was the most hilarious thing ever.

Sunday, we spent almost all day outside.  Ryan threw some major temper tantrums every time we went inside, so we just stayed outdoors and let him do his thing!  This boy would live outdoors if you would let him!  GrandPop took him on TONS of wagon rides too, so he was living it up.  It was nice to have him in town and outside playing with Ryan because Russell and I were able to be out there working in the yard a bit while having GrandPop distract Ryan.  Man, you can get a lot more done with an extra set of hands/eyes!

And then, just like that, it was all over.  Monday is here, I am still sick, and we have five days to get through until we get to have more fun!
